BEAR LAKE!

Well we have spent two fun filled weekends in Bear Lake this summer and we have two more to go. We rented a cabin in bear lake for several weekends so we could go up and get away at the lake and bring our little water dogs with us. Well we "thought" we had two water dogs....It turns out Roxie is not a big fan. She just hangs out with mom in the shade while Sadie does all the swimming. She had fun chasing the ball on the beach though. I had fun reading a good book and cooling off in the water whenever it got too hot. But of course in bear lake the best way to cool off is with a raspberry shake....YUMM!!

Hello to All!

Well let's get you up to speed on all the fun we have been up to. John and I have been married for one year almost to the day. We got married on the 4th of July 2007. And wouldn't ya know we had fireworks on our first anniversary! John has been working his tail off remodeling our house for the past 2 years and it is finally done. So of course John now wants to move. So we have put our home up for sale and are crossing our fingers. We have decided to move out to Daybreak in South Jordan, so as soon as this baby sells we are packing up and moving south. John when not at work, stays busy with a million other projects. He has started to rent himself out as a handyman so he can keep using all his tools fixing stuff up. He has also started making furniture. He has made a few sofa tables and he sold one just the other day. He is now working on an amazing rustic coffee table that you have to see to believe. I will post a picture as soon as it is done. It is so beautiful! I'm so glad I'm married to such an amazingly talented man. Here are some great pictures of the work he has done on the house and also his table that he sold! :

As for me, I am still working at the University of Utah as the Neurology Clinic Supervisor. It's a fancy title but what I really do is manage the new patient referrals for the department. I really love it though. It has been fun to create new systems and really bring the clinic to the 21st century. They haven't really updated there systems since the 70's so it was quite a challenge to introduce all the wonders of computers to some of the older providers. I am also starting school there in the fall. I am just going to start getting my generals done since I get half off tuition by working there. So I will be a busy girl come fall with full time work AND going to school. But it will all be worth it.

We are just about to head out to Bear Lake for the weekend. We are packing up the dogs and going to the beach! We have rented a little cabin up there for several weekends this summer so we can cool down and have fun splashing around with our little water dogs. They were very sad that they couldn't go to lake powell with us. My sister has a house boat and we go up every year but the rules are NO DOGS! So we had to get them a doggie sitter for the week and I think they had fun staying home. Johns favorite thing about lake powell is seeing how crazy his hair gets.
