I just noticed how long it's been since I blogged...sorry friends. So here is the latest in our lives...I have been dying in school this semester so I have done nothing about the baby situation...but will soon..promise.
As far as my mommy. She is tolerating her treatments like a champ. She feels good and you really wouldn't even know she has cancer. So that makes us all feel MUCH better. But we won't know if the treatments have done any good until July when she can go in for another body scan. So we are all getting together more often and Mom and Dad are going on an Alaska cruise in June. FUN!! The family is planning another whole family vacation for next year but we are still debating where and when...so we will see.
John is busy building us a fabulous vanity. We are going to re-do our bathroom...it's the only room in the house he hasn't gutted and re-done...so I guess it's time.
As far as me and my crazy schedule...I am finally ready to cut back on work so I can focus and school and get it DONE. I met with the academic counselor and mapped out the rest of my schooling and I am so happy to announce that is just 3 short years I will have a masters in computer science!! WOO HOO!!. So starting in the fall I will start going to school full time and only work when I have time. My job will consist only of database design and administration (of the systems I have already created or are currently working on). Since that part of my job is exactly what I am going to school to do it works out great that I can still continue my projects.
I'm hoping that this will allow me to have better balance in life. My poor family has really taken a back seat to work and school so hopefully they can get a bigger share of my time.
A great big thanks to my AMAZING husband John who has been such a support to me. Without his help I would never have made it. LOVE YOU BABE!
Well that's the update on the Keck household. Finals are next week and then a much needed break. Aaahhhhhh..
